TfGM Statement on the Gender Pay Gap Figures 2017/18 TfGM is pleased that there is an improvement in the gender pay gap figures compared to last year. We have an action plan which we hope will continue reduce gender pay gap for future years Why there is a gap * TfGM is committed to the principle of equal opportunities and equal treatment for all of its employees; * TfGM reward processes are designed to ensure that all employees are paid equally for all work they do regardless of their sex or any other characteristics; * TfGM is confident that its gender pay gap does not stem from paying men and women different for the same or equivalent work. The pay gap is as a result of the difference in the roles in which men and women work and the salaries that those roles attract. What are we doing to reduce the gap * TfGM is undertaking an extended review of its established job evaluation system to assure that it does not contain any inherent biases; * TfGM will actively encourage women to apply for senior roles to as part of its Resourcing Strategy; * TfGM will provide additional support to women in the organisation to achieve promotion. * An internal audit of the Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan is scheduled to be completed by April 2019
